Please bring uniforms and sweats to school MONDAY morning. I am missing about 8 girls and 13 boys. You know who you are so don't make me call your names, or worse, pay a home visit and search through your laundry for the uni's. (I actually did that one year)
Pencil in December 11th, Sunday afternoon, 5:30-8:30 for our end of season banquet, awards and theater night. We are trying to schedule so the most people will be in town and available. Pot luck food, top notch awards, headliner entertainment. Nally's Bistro on Crestridge. Details to follow.
Come by my room Monday to get a 2011 season evaluation form. The more you write, the better the skit will be.

State Meet Results and More
One season ends....... another begins.
Congratulations to Zane Coburn --> 2nd place overall in boys AAA in 16:03. He made a dramatic comeback over the last mile to move up from 6th place. Great effort. Thanks to Mr Darden for well executed coaching, and Nick Stevens and Wil Cramer for putting in some significant runs with him during the fall. Next up --> Footlocker, track season, and beyond!! Nice work Zane!!
Congratulations to the girls team. They finished 13th overall (out of 32 teams). Grace Powers, Nally Kinnane, Isabelle Taft, Alix Youngblood, Molly Daniel, Allison Rapoport and Lia Pett all ran best or nearly best times for the year. They had an average team time 20 seconds faster than last year, and 20 fewer points than last year, yet still finished the same place as last year.
Next up --> Thanksgiving Day half marathon for 3, then Publix half marathon in March for at least 2 others. Thanks to Ms Aldridge for her daily support of every individual member of the team, and to Kathryn Kramer for sharing her expertise and friendship the last two weeks.
And for the whole team, next up --> end of season pot luck awards banquet and theater production. We will be dining at the Kinnane Family Restaurant on Sunday, probably on December 11th. Official invitations will follow when the date is finalized. Pencil it into your calendars.
UNIFORMS AND SWEATS!!!! Wash and return EARLY this week. Please actually wash them and don't forget to complete the dryer cycle. I got a very damp set of sweats last week.
Parents, you are the backbone of this team. Pictures, snacks, transportation, fund raising, chaperoning.... you do it all. Thank you.
